About me

I am a somatic practitioner and improvisational movement artist, based in Melbourne Australia. As a teacher, writer and performer of Contact Improvisation, I have been exploring the form for more than a decade. This exploration has traveled me widely – dancing with State of Flux, Martin Hughes, Ray Chung, Karen Nelson, Joerg Hassmann, Gustavo Lecce. I have taught and performed extensively across Australia, as well as in New Zealand, Malaysia, Germany and the Unites States. I am a key contributor to the Australian CI community, as an organizer of ACIC (the Australian Contact Improvisation Convergence) and co-editor of <proximity> magazine. My writings on CI have been published in <proximity> magazine and Contact Quarterly.

In my classes, I enjoy creating a sense of playful focus, a space for exploration and fun, where improvisation allows for a deepening of concepts and skills.
